One New Year’s day we were celebrating the coming year by cleaning out our dryer lint and thinking “Are we losing the shirt right off our backs by all our washing and drying? Wonder if we could, over time, reclaim enough lint for a shirt, for example.” So we put a bag by the dryer with “Save” written on it and from that New Year’s day to the next we collected wad after wad of lint and not only saved it, but we also framed it.
