2D or not 2D, that is the question. My brother in law Kix was out riding at twilight when he noticed how long his and his horse’s shadow were. He snapped us a photo and we liked its architectural shapes so much that we drew it and modeled it a dozen times in scales ranging from thumb sized, to table sized, to a five foot model in Louisiana, to a heroic 12’ tall sketch on our barn doors here in Maine.
